The Ministry of Energy has finalized a bill on regulating the operation of marketplaces
October 10th. /MEDIA TALK/. On Thursday, October 10, it became known that the Ministry of Economy finalized the draft law on regulating the work of marketplaces, taking into account the comments of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Ministry of Finance and other departments. This was reported by RBC.

Thus, the provisions that additional requirements may be imposed on large intermediary platforms, as well as on fitting rooms at all order pick-up points, have disappeared from the document. The ministry also added a clause according to which marketplaces have the right to lower prices for goods at the expense of sellers with their consent.

The media noted that the Ministry of Energy did not take into account most of the comments on the essence of the draft law. For example, the agency ignored the request of the Ministry of Finance to remove social networks, instant messaging programs and audiovisual services from regulation.

It should be noted that the law on the platform economy will regulate the relations of online platforms, taxi aggregators, delivery services, etc. with sellers and consumers.

Recall that on the eve it was reported that the Ministry of Labor proposed to limit the self-employed in the ability to perform dangerous work. The comment came after the agency studied the law on the platform economy.
