The Ministry of Finance has changed the mechanism for providing subsidies to banks on "Family mortgages"

December 12. /MEDIA TALK/. In Russia, the rules for obtaining subsidies by banks under the Family Mortgage program have been revised. The total limit has been increased from 6.25 to 8.65 trillion rubles, which will help prevent temporary shutdowns of the program, the Ministry of Finance reported. The mechanism will become more flexible, providing all banks with equal access to the entire volume of financing.

The limits were raised by order of Mikhail Mishustin after a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. The budget for 2024 provides for financing of the program in the amount of 290 billion rubles, and the Government has also allocated an additional 142.0 billion from the reserve fund.

The draft federal budget for 2025-2027 includes 1449.4 billion rubles, including 637 billion for 2025, 454.1 billion for 2026 and 358.3 billion for 2027. Recall that the "Family mortgage" will be valid in the Russian Federation until 2030.
