According to media reports, the quota will be 234.9 thousand people. This is 1.5 times more than in 2024 (155.9 thousand).

The ministry's document cited the shortage of personnel and the use of imported high-tech equipment as the reason for the increase in the indicator. In addition, migrants want to be involved in the construction of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline and the ethane-containing gas processing complex in Ust-Luga.

RBC has sent an official request to the Ministry of Labor.
