The mortgage market continued to decline in January
February 3rd. /MEDIA TALK/. The number of mortgage loans issued in the 3 weeks of January 2025 decreased by 71% relative to the corresponding interval in 2024.

Such data is contained in the report of the Analytical Center DOM.RF. During the three-week period, 12,000 housing loans worth 54 billion rubles were provided. There was a 68% decrease in financial indicators

. The provision of housing loans with government support has significantly decreased. Over the past month, Russian citizens have signed 14,000 concessional loan agreements, the total amount of which has reached 80 billion rubles. The decrease is 61% in volume and 57% in total transactions.

The most frequently concessional housing loans were issued in January under the Family Mortgage program. It accounted for 12,000 loans (33% less than last year), amounting to 71 billion rubles (-27% compared to the same period last year).

In total, 1.3 million mortgage loans were issued by the end of 2024 (-36% by 2023), 636 thousand loans (-33%) worth 3,439 billion rubles (-28%) were provided under preferential programs.
