According to experts, the negotiations between the leaders of the countries reassured investors, which had a positive impact on Russian assets. At the same time, the ruble strengthened, and the dollar dropped below the 90 mark for the first time in several months.

Some analysts note that due to the improvement in the geopolitical situation, market players are hoping for at least a partial lifting of sanctions, which also contributes to an optimistic mood.
Experts predict further growth of the IMOEX index in the coming trading sessions. At 12.45 Moscow time, it stands at 3,214.11, adding 6.23% since the last close of trading.
