The maximum revenue was received from the rental of films "Deadpool and Wolverine" (674 million rubles), "Puzzle 2" (about 2.5 billion rubles) and "Despicable Me 4" (about 378 million rubles). Kommersant writes about this today with reference to the statistics of the film distributor's newsletter.

Market participants attribute the decline in revenue to the lack of major premieres on the scale of "Barbie" last year. It should be noted that the cost of visiting foreign films in Russian cinemas, as a rule, exceeds the cost of tickets for domestic films. The price of attending a screening with the so-called "pre-screening service" averaged 411 rubles last year.
At the end of the year, the Head of the Ministry of Culture, Olga Lyubimova, announced that 78% of the Russian film distribution was accounted for by domestic films.
