The trade turnover between Russia and China in 2024 increased by almost 2%

On Tuesday, September 10, it became known that in the first eight months of this year, the trade turnover between Russia and China increased by 1.9%, to 158,469 billion dollars. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the main customs administration of a foreign state.

So, during this period, China imported almost 72 billion worth of products to Russia, which is 0.4% more than in the eight months of 2023. The Russian Federation supplied China with goods worth 86.6 billion dollars (+3.2%).

It should be noted that last year the trade turnover of the states increased by 26.3%, to $ 240.11 billion. The result was a record for mutual trade between the parties.

Recall that on the eve it was reported that China has become a key partner of Moscow in trade with the BRICS countries. The total volume of mutual trade between the Russian capital and the association's participants increased by almost 15% in the first half of the year.
