In 2024, 382 cases of data leaks were detected by experts, which is significantly lower than in 2023, when 445 were recorded. At the same time, the volume of leaks increased significantly: the attackers managed to gain access to 438 million phone numbers and 227 million email addresses, which is 70% more than in 2023.

The organization has studied cases of leaked data posted on the darknet, on forums, as well as in Telegram channels. Experts point to a high degree of probability that additional information leakage incidents related to the previous 12 months will be identified in 2025, and that the total amount of leaked information will increase.
