This year, Russians were 25% more likely to tip
November 7th. /MEDIA TALK/. Kommersant has studied the electronic tipping market. According to the newspaper, in the first 9 months of 2024, the number of tip transactions increased by a quarter, while the most dynamic growth was recorded in the beauty sector - 27.3% year on year. It is noted that private craftsmen received tips 3.5 times more often than a year earlier.

The average size of such a check in the country was 333 rubles, according to the Yclients system. The largest increase was recorded in Sochi (42.9%), Kazan (25.7%), Irkutsk (33.3%), Moscow (29.8%) and Krasnodar (29.4%).
