New doctors are getting jobs in medical institutions of the Vologda region. So, two doctors, a neurologist and a nurse from the infectious diseases office were admitted to the Vokhtoga village district hospital. They got a job at the hospital after graduating from medical schools.

An oncologist got a job at the Cherepovets cancer center. He's already hosting a reception. The specialist will examine patients, perform various manipulations such as biopsy or puncture, prepare documents and make decisions about the treatment of patients.
Vologda Polyclinic No2 has hired a therapist, an ophthalmologist and a cardiologist. Young doctors were trained under a targeted contract. Now they will work under the guidance of experienced mentors. Next year, 6 more specialists will come to the clinic. They are entitled to various incentive payments.
According to the head of the regional Department of Health, this year it was possible to attract 30% more doctors than a year earlier. There is also a tendency for doctors to switch from private clinics, the press service of the Vologda Oblast Department of Health reports.
