
The head of the Chelyabinsk region, Alexey Texler, announced plans to continue the modernization of primary health care. In the next few years, 60 facilities will be built, several buildings will be repaired and new equipment will be purchased.

The construction of large medical facilities is also beginning in the region. A surgical building of a children's hospital is already being built in Chelyabinsk. Construction of a multidisciplinary medical center will begin in Magnitogorsk in 2025. It will appear near the park "Attraction" and will combine several hospitals.
In addition, Alexey Texler recalled that over the past few years, 120 paramedic and obstetric stations have been built in the Southern Urals and 40 mobile FAPs have been purchased for remote settlements. Repairs were carried out in 250 medical institutions and 17,000 pieces of equipment were purchased.
According to the governor, now the number of budget places for medical students is increasing in the region, there is a governor's residency and targeted training. Support measures are in place for healthcare workers. This makes it possible to increase the staffing of the region with doctors, reports VGTRK South Ural.
