KAMAZ has increased production of commercial vehicles

January 14th. /MEDIA TALK/. In 2024, KAMAZ sold 24.45 thousand units of cargo vehicles weighing over 8 tons on the domestic market. This was reported by the press service of the automaker, with reference to the statistics of the traffic police.

In the commercial vehicle sector with a total weight of more than 14 tons (the standard adopted in Russia), the company sold 20.3 thousand trucks and maintained a leading position in the market. In the category of vehicles from 8 to 14 tons, KAMAZ significantly increased sales figures to 4.15 thousand vehicles and came in second place after GAZ. In the field of passenger transportation, the organization supplied over 2.2 thousand buses and electric buses, which was a record volume for the company.

In December 2024, representatives of the Naberezhnye Chelny City Administration, where KAMAZ is based, announced the automaker's plans to increase production to 47,000 trucks in 2025. By the end of 2024, KAMAZ has also become one of the leaders among companies actively implementing unmanned technologies in their cars.
