Imports reached a volume of 818.5 million units. In 2023, 518 million chicken eggs were imported to the Russian market. The main exporters of chicken eggs to Russia in 2024 are Belarus, Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The number of eggs imported from Belarus increased by 39% and amounted to 710.5 million units. Azerbaijan exported 48.7 million units of products, increasing supplies by 40 times. The import of eggs from Turkey became possible only in 2024, and during this period, 44.3 million units of products were imported to Russia.
