The prosecutor's office approved the charge against the head of Bashkir Engineering and Construction Company LLC. The director is considered guilty of grand theft during the implementation of the national project, Article 159, part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Investigators assume that in August 2019, during the work carried out under the national Ecology project in Davlekanovo, the city hall and the construction company signed a contract on control during work on the water purification system.
It is reported that the company has not fulfilled its obligations stipulated in the contract. There was no verification of compliance with design and estimate documents, the cost of the work performed was not compared with the papers presented for payment. There were no supporting documents.
This led to the contractor fulfilling the order with violations. Because of this, the facility cannot purify water and has not been put into operation. At the same time, the company received 500,000 rubles for the services rendered.
The head of the firm has pleaded not guilty. The documents on the case have been submitted to the court, the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan reports.
