Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk region unanimously adopted the draft law on the regional budget for the next three years in the second reading. 333 amendments were made to the document. Due to this, the financing of a number of important programs for the region has been increased. As the speaker of the Legislative Assembly Andrei Shimkiv noted, this result is the result of a great and coordinated work of the parliament and the Government.
"Today's vote is an indicator of the maturity and professionalism of the deputy corps, the ability to work with representatives of all parties, the Government, ministers, the prosecutor's office to find the optimal solution, taking into account all the requirements of the time. I am sure that such mutual understanding will continue in our work," the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly concluded.

The regional Prosecutor's office took an active part in the formation of the budget for the next three years. According to the head of the department, Alexander Buchman, the total weight of the amendments made by the prosecutor's office is estimated at 3.8 billion rubles. These funds will be used to provide housing for orphaned children, repair roads, resettle the emergency fund, support family members of the participants of the SVO and a number of other important social issues. Alexander Buchman also noted that this year, thanks to the measures taken by the prosecutor's office to ensure the legality of auctions, the regional budget received 5 billion rubles.
Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Committee on Budget, Financial and Economic Policy and Property Fedor Nikolaev, listing the increased amounts of budget allocations in a number of socially significant areas, said that 15 billion rubles were allocated for the provision of inter-budgetary transfers to local budgets, of which 14.2 billion rubles were allocated for solving local issues, including more than 6.5 billion rubles to Novosibirsk. Another 2.5 billion rubles will be added for the modernization of primary health care and 1.5 billion for the improvement of courtyards and spaces. 1.2 billion rubles will be spent on the construction and reconstruction of centralized cold water supply and sanitation facilities. The budget also includes funds for free meals for elementary school students. 300 million annually from 2025 to 2027 is planned to be allocated for repairs to replace windows and roofs in schools and kindergartens.
Funds in the amount of 251 million are planned for housing for orphans. Almost 6 billion - for the formation of the road fund. At the same time, Fyodor Nikolaev stressed that some of the amendments are still on the "waiting list". They will be considered next year when discussing budget adjustments.
