Employees of the Pskov Regional Committee of Labor and Employment summed up the results of their work for 2024. Since January, 3,308 residents of the region have been employed, including 1,665 people aged 14 to 17.

According to the committee, 900 people received a profession within the framework of the national project "Demography", and 80 defense industry workers received professional training.
This year, 259 job fairs were held with the participation of 505 employers and 15,067 applicants. More than 780 foreign citizens have completed a course of socio-cultural adaptation of migrant workers. 530 compatriots from 12 countries returned to the Pskov region.
This year, an interdepartmental commission dealing with combating shadow employment began working in the region, the Pskov Information Agency reports.
