Mayor Sergey Petrin told what the Voronezh budget will be used for in 2025
November 16th. /MEDIA TALK/.The head of the regional capital announced the completion of work on the draft of the main financial document of the city for 2025 and the planning period of the next two years.

Thanks to the joint and scrupulous work of several structural divisions of the Voronezh Administration, measures were introduced into the draft budget for next year that had not previously been funded. The head of the city, Sergey Petrin, told in detail in his official Telegram channel what they plan to spend the budget on in 2025.

So, the funds will be used to repair the roof of the cultural and leisure center, upgrade schools No. 20, 36, 79 and 92, kindergarten No. 60 and three sports educational institutions. Finances from the federal treasury will be used to reconstruct the Kiselyov UVK and two educational institutions No. 57 and 90. The Voronezh Mayor also added that almost twice as much money will be allocated to improve housing conditions for young families. 5 million rubles will be allocated for the participation of young Voronezh athletes in competitions.

Another 82 million are planned for the maintenance of the Safe City complex — this is almost 1,400 video cameras. Money has been pledged for landscaping, as well as for the creation of navigation in the Orlyonok Park and on Petrovskaya Embankment.

Revenues in 2025 are planned in the amount of 44 billion rubles, and expenses – 45.3 billion rubles. Own budget revenues are expected to amount to one and a half billion rubles, which is 9% more than in 2024. About five billion more will go to the treasury from higher budgets.

As Sergey Petrin stressed, the city will keep the practice of not taking loans from commercial banks.

The draft budget has been sent to the city Parliament for consideration. The Voronezh Mayor noted that the document is "balanced and provides for further development of the city." It takes into account all important tasks and social obligations. They also provided money for the protection of schools, as promised earlier by the mayor.
