The government of the Novosibirsk region has attracted more than 700 young teachers to the educational sphere

The support measures developed by the government of the Novosibirsk Region help to effectively attract personnel to the regional educational system. For example, in 2024, 742 young specialists entered this field. In addition, more than 66% of NGPU graduates have started working in educational institutions in the region.

According to Governor Andrey Travnikov, the government of the Novosibirsk Region, together with Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, has developed support measures that have given good results in providing the education system with personnel.

In 2022, the number of teachers in the region reached 25,741 people, and in 2024, 26,374 specialists are already working in the field of education.

Now the region offers new teachers a one-time allowance in the amount of the subsistence minimum, a monthly salary supplement of 25%, a one-time payment in the amount of 15,000 rubles to graduates of targeted programs, priority in providing places in kindergartens, 100 compensation for utility costs and other types of support.

The governor also instructed to introduce a new format of teacher support based on an objective assessment of the high quality of education in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and computer science. 220 teachers receive a monthly bonus in the amount of 10,000 rubles.

The Zemsky Uchitel program has also become one of the regional measures. She is popular among teachers. The competition for participation is 5 people per place. At the moment, 212 people are working in the region as part of this project, the press service of the Government of the Novosibirsk region told.
