The Governor of St. Petersburg intends to increase the number of volunteers thanks to federal subsidies
January 9th. /MEDIA TALK/. The Governor of St. Petersburg has signed a decree according to which it is planned to increase the number of volunteers thanks to federal subsidies. The work will be carried out within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children" of the state program "Development of Education" and the federal program "We are together".

The document approves the draft agreement between the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Government of St. Petersburg on the allocation of subsidies from the state treasury to the city budget.

A total of 2.7 million rubles will be provided, which will increase the number of St. Petersburg volunteers. The money will be used to hold seminars for the city's volunteer community, monthly events on related topics, and an interregional intensive, which will create a Roadmap for the development of volunteerism in St. Petersburg for 2026-2027. These events will also be financed from the city budget in the amount of more than 3 million rubles, the press service of the Administration of St. Petersburg said.
