According to the governor, last year was significant in the development of relations between Russia and China. During this period, several meetings were held between the leaders of the states. As a result of one of the meetings, 2024 and 2025 were designated as the cross-cultural Years of Russia and China.
China ranks first among the foreign trade partners of the Angara region. During the first 9 months of 2024, the growth of trade between the parties increased by 27% compared to the same period in 2023.
During the visit of the regional delegation to China, more than 200 meetings and 400 negotiations were held between business representatives of both sides. The development of mutually beneficial cooperation continues, the press service of the Irkutsk Region Government reports.
