The head of the Samara region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev discussed socio-economic issues with the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
January 17th. /MEDIA TALK/. A meeting was held in Moscow between Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, Governor of the Samara Region, and Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma. The politicians discussed the socio-economic development of the region.

During the previous meeting, held in September 2024, Vyacheslav Volodin approved the governor's proposals regarding the development of the region. According to the chairman of the State Duma, the Samara region is one of the industrial centers that is among the top 10 regions of Russia in terms of economic potential.

Vyacheslav Fedorishchev shared the key tasks and projects that will be implemented in the region. These include initiatives to build social facilities, develop healthcare, public transport systems, and repair roads.

The parties also discussed the regulation of migration policy and legislative initiatives. Vyacheslav Volodin said that the State Duma will continue to support the region, the press service of the Government of the Samara region reports.
