
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, took part in the opening of a new polyclinic on 12,000 square meters. The medical facility will start accepting patients on January 1. The clinic is located in Salavat Cooper.

The building houses adult and children's polyclinics, a women's clinic, a trauma center and an ambulance substation. 700 doctors will work in the children's and adult departments. The ambulance substation will receive 40 vehicles in early 2025.
Children's play spaces, spacious halls, and a mother and child room have been set up in the building for patients. The new facility will serve residents of the rapidly growing area.
The medical facility will be able to accommodate up to 500 adults and 250 children per shift. It will employ district internists, pediatricians, neurologists, cardiologists, surgeons, oncologists, endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, proctologists and other specialists.
The polyclinic is equipped with three X-ray machines, a fluorograph, a mammograph, CT, ultrasound, ECG devices and other medical equipment, the press service of the Kazan administration said.
Two toll roads and the apron of Kazan airport were put into operation in Tatarstan.
