In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 10 new livestock complexes have been built and 6 operating state-supported ones have been reconstructed this year. About 2.88 billion rubles have been invested in farms. The facilities are designed for a population of 6,000 head of cattle.

The development of dairy farming is one of the priorities of the regional agricultural industry. The work is carried out within the framework of the state program "Development of the agro-industrial complex of the Nizhny Novgorod region".
Since the beginning of the year, 19 construction projects and 6 modernization projects have received subsidies. At the moment, 16 of them have been put into operation. The region reimburses up to half of the costs for the construction and reconstruction of farms, the Nizhny Novgorod regional government reported.
Recall that in Nizhny Novgorod, about 90 facilities were built using information modeling technology.
