Analysts attribute this trend to an increase in housing prices in other resort areas of Russia. Derbent is gaining popularity as a vacation destination for Russians. The growth of residential apartment buildings under construction also had an impact.
During the first six months of 2024, the number of primary residential properties on offer increased almost 7-fold to 37,700 units. In 2023, 5,500 apartments were sold in the same period.
According to analysts, the demand for real estate in Dagestan will continue to grow this year, Izvestia reports.
Earlier we wrote that a cable car will be built in Derbent under a concession.
