Since the beginning of 2024, 179 apartment buildings have been renovated in Kazan. This made it possible to improve the living conditions of 47,000 residents of Kazan. About a billion rubles were allocated for these purposes.

Roofs were repaired in 70 houses, facades were updated in 54. 52 residential buildings received 138 new Russian-made elevators. The devices are equipped with Braille buttons, have vandal-proof and energy-saving properties.
Next year, a three-year program of major repairs in residential buildings will be completed in the capital of Tatarstan. During this time, 562 buildings will be renovated. The cost of the work will amount to 8 billion rubles. Funds for these purposes come from the regional and municipal budgets and from the population, the press service of the Kazan Administration said.
