In Tyumen, sales of new buildings fell by almost a quarter
November 10th. /MEDIA TALK/.From January to September of this year, 14,500 apartments were sold.

In Tyumen, sales of apartments in new buildings from January to September 2024 decreased by 23% compared to the same period last year. Within 9 months, the developers sold 14,500 apartments.

The decline in sales was strongly influenced by the cancellation of state support and the change in conditions under the Family Mortgage program. From July to September, demand decreased by almost 60%.

July turned out to be the most difficult, and then sales began to recover. At the same time, in September, the limits on family mortgages ended, which is why a significant part of the apartments in new buildings were not sold.

There was also an increase in the cost per square meter by more than 9%. By the end of September, the price reached 137,800 rubles. In the third quarter, developers tried to restrain price increases and made discounts.

According to RBC, with the completion of the preferential mortgage, the number of loans issued for apartments in new buildings fell 5 times. In June, residents of the Tyumen region issued 1,700 mortgages, and in July – less than 370.

Recall that Russians began to actively arrange installments for apartments instead of mortgages.
