A new cable-stayed bridge, which is being built in Chelyabinsk over the Miass River near Poplar Alley, is promised to open on December 1, 2024.

The city administration claims that the structure will be ready by September, but due to prolonged rains, the commissioning of the facility had to be adjusted.
At the moment, the workers will have to strengthen the temporary dam, which was washed away by a violent current, and drain the site for further work.
The work will go on until the end of November, and from December 1st it will be possible to walk on the bridge. The surrounding area will be landscaped in the spring, the Access portal reports.
