The governor of the Chelyabinsk region said that more than 174 million rubles were allocated for the development of villages this year

The governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Alexey Texler, said that the development of villages is a strategic priority for the regional authorities. During 2024, 174.1 million rubles were allocated for the improvement of park areas, the renovation of roads, the construction of sports facilities and the restoration of memorable places. The money came from the federal and regional budgets.

An important task for the region is the dynamic development of municipal districts, the creation of a comfortable and prosperous life for people from villages. The integrated rural development program has become a good tool for this.
During the work of the program, dozens of clubs, schools, libraries and kindergartens have been repaired, infrastructure has been improved and modernized. 43 projects out of the planned 51 have already been completed this year.

As part of the program "Modern appearance of rural areas", a swimming pool is being built in the village of Oktyabrskoye. The commissioning of the facility is scheduled for next year. 94.5 million rubles have been allocated for the construction.

In addition, programs to improve the living conditions of villagers are being funded. During 2024, 16 families received social security payments for the purchase of apartments or the construction of houses. 35 million rubles were allocated for these purposes, Alexey Texler said.
