The Mordovian national table tennis team is close to winning a prestigious tournament, the Russian Table Tennis Federation Super League Team Championship. The second stage of the competition was held in Cheboksary. The 13 Region team won six times and suffered one defeat.

This season, the Mordovian club occupies a leading position after two stages. It is especially worth highlighting the game in the final match of the tour, in which the "13 Region" met with the Altai team from Barnaul, which knows no defeats and occupies the first place in the Super League. In the previous season, these teams had already played each other in the top division, and then the Mordovian club won two landslide victories. The game was very intense and lasted three hours. Altai was striving for maximum results and did not want to concede to the leader. And the "13 region" hoped to defeat the leader, which could give the team the opportunity to compete for the first place in the Super League. It took all five matches to determine the winner. The fight was intense until the very end, and in the end Sultanov Marat prevailed in a difficult five-set duel with Nikita Moshkov. In the decisive fifth game, Sultanov lost with a score of 1:2, but was able to turn the tide of the game and win with a score of 7:6. This victory was important for the Mordovian team.
After two rounds in the Super League, Region 13 is in second place with 28 points. The leader is the Altai team from Barnaul, which has 29 points. The third place is taken by the Mining Cluster from Samara with 27 points.
The team from Mordovia has good prospects of becoming a Super League champion. The third stage of the competition will be held in Cheboksary from February 27 to March 2, 2025.
