Thanks to the assistance of the department of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, a hand-to-hand combat tournament was held dedicated to the memory of the fallen soldiers of the SVO.
The young athletes met on the territory of the Olymp sports club. Among the honored guests were veterans of a special military operation and families of heroes who fell in battle. More than one hundred and thirty athletes from Mordovia, as well as from the Ulyanovsk, Penza, Nizhny Novgorod and Ryazan regions participated in the competitions.

Both boys and girls fought for the honorary trophy of the Republic of Mordovia. They showed not only skill, but also perseverance and a desire to win. Olga Zetkina, Deputy Director of the foundation's branch, attended the opening ceremony of the competition.

"It is gratifying to see so many people here who have gathered to honor the memory of our heroes," she said. — This shows that the memory of the defenders is not fading, and together we express our respect for their courage and heroism.
