2,000 houses will be connected to electricity in Irkutsk and Shelekhovsky districts of the Angara region
September 18th. /MEDIA TALK/.Work on technological connection to the power grid is planned to be completed by the end of the year.

The Irkutsk Electric Grid Company intends to connect about 2,000 houses from the Irkutsk and Shelekhovsky districts to electricity by the end of the year. The first new subscribers will be privileged categories of citizens.

The Irkutsk Electric Grid Company plans to provide electricity to another 3,000 homes by the summer of 2025. This will fulfill the obligations to residents who have concluded contracts with the company. This year, 6,500 consumers have already gained access to the power grid.

The governor of the region said that it is necessary to develop an action plan for each district experiencing difficulties connecting residents to electricity, the press service of the Government of the Irkutsk region reports.

Earlier we wrote that in Irkutsk, on the site of the former Chaika cinema, a polyclinic for 350 visitors per shift will be built.
