As part of the dialogue, the results of the unit's work in the region were analyzed and further steps were identified. Artyom Zdunov noted that close cooperation has been established between the republic and the company. He also stressed that it is necessary to start implementing new initiatives in certain areas in the near future. First of all, we are talking about ensuring safety on the railway.

Vyacheslav Dmitriev shared the key results of the railway's work in the region, which were achieved through cooperation with representatives of local authorities. In 2024, approximately 927,000 people used passenger transport services. Passenger traffic in suburban transport has increased significantly — by almost 24%. The plans include the further development of this network in two directions. In addition, the volume of cargo transportation increased by 18%. Investments in infrastructure and technology modernization increased by almost 13%.
In addition, the social sphere is important for the company. Russian Railways employs about 2,700 workers from Mordovia. Wages are gradually increasing, and all necessary conditions have been created to provide qualified medical care to employees.
In addition, Vyacheslav Dmitriev introduced Andrey Konakov, who holds the position of Deputy head of the Kuibyshev Railway for territorial management, to the leadership of the region.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the republic and the head of the Kuibyshev Railway signed a cooperation agreement between the Republic of Mordovia and Russian Railways for the period from 2025 to 2029. The purpose of this document is to improve the operation of the region's transport system, ensure safety at railway facilities and increase the region's production potential.
