Talented young actors from six educational institutions of the district took part in the republican theater competition. Works in the categories "Drama Theater", "Puppet Theater" and in the special nomination "My Pushkin" were presented to the discerning public and a strict jury. Each production, the jury members noted, was unique, vivid and deep in content. In the main Drama Theater nomination, the creative team "Young Theater-goers" of the Alovsoy School became the winner.

There are eight school theaters in the district. Two of them, at the Village School No. 1 and the Atyrau Secondary School, received equipment for their theater studios last academic year as part of the federal project "Success of every Child", which is part of the national project "Education". This equipment allows you to place 105 decorative elements.

Recall that from September 12, 2024 to February 10, 2025, a republican school theater competition called "Open Stage" is being held in all districts of Mordovia. Actors from all amateur theatrical associations will be able to take part in it. The aim of this competition is to develop school theater groups, studios and clubs, as well as to unleash the creative potential of students and teachers.
