In 2024, the head of the railway station offered an illegal deal to the builders of the overpass. Since they wanted to build an overpass next to the railway in Saransk, it could affect the progress of work. The head of the railway junction suggested not to take measures that could suspend construction due to violations committed by the company's employees during the construction of the overpass across the railway tracks.

The project manager agreed with this proposal, as he understood that if the construction was stopped, the company could lose a lot of money. As a thank you for his assistance in carrying out construction work, he bribed the head of the railway station by providing the company's excavator for free use. In the Ruzaevsky district, a pond pit was dug on a plot of land owned by the head of the railway station. The cost of these works was at least 200,000 rubles.
Currently, according to information provided by the staff of the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Mordovia, a criminal case has been opened against the head of the railway junction. Work is underway to collect additional evidence confirming the suspect's guilt.
