In 2025, the construction of a school for two thousand places will begin in the Shilovo microdistrict. As the mayor of the city Sergey Petrin noted, there is a great need for the facility, since the existing school is already close to double overflow. The construction will cost almost 3 billion rubles. The deadline for submitting applications for competitive procedures ends on December 13.
In general, Voronezh will focus on major repairs of existing facilities instead of building new ones. According to the mayor, there is currently no territory that requires the immediate construction of a building.

"As an example, in the area of Prospectors Street, plots for the construction of a school for 1,224 places have been transferred to municipal ownership, but housing is not being built there, so there is no urgent need to erect new facilities," the mayor explained.
Sergey Petrin also talked to journalists about the first youth center in the city that was recently opened as part of the national project "Education".
"I would like those events that are planned to be implemented there. I am sure that everything should be fine," the head of the city noted.

In addition, the mayor said that he is now awaiting the governor's decision on the future fate of the House of Officers.
"The governor visited this building in order to determine the future prospects of its development. I think this decision will be made in December, and we will announce it," the mayor said. Sergey Petrin stressed that in any case, this facility will also work for young people.
