Mikhail Vedernikov positively assessed the developed interactive map of weed distribution. This will allow you to visually track progress in the fight against a dangerous plant. It is also reported that residents of the region will be able to report on the places where the hogweed was found. This data will be entered into the portal after verification.
In 2024, 20 million rubles were spent on combating the plant and about 1,800 hectares of territory were treated, the press service of the Government of the Pskov region told.
