Representatives of large and medium-sized businesses of Mordovia presented their developments at the collective stand of the republic at the international exhibition "Energy, Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering" in Almaty. The participation was organized by the Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia with the support of the ANO "Center for Competitiveness Development of the Republic of Mordovia".

Two companies participate from Mordovia: the manufacturer of optical cable "Sarmat" and the manufacturer of light structures "Xenon". Saransk Lighting Engineering Company, EM-CAT, Saransk Cable-Optics, and EM-CABLE are also involved. The rent of the exhibition space and registration fees were paid under the program "Accelerator of export growth" of the national project "Labor Productivity". The collective stand covers an area of about 40 square meters. The purpose of the program is to conclude new foreign trade contracts within 12 months.
On the first day, the stand was visited by the head of the representative office of JSC REC and a representative of the trade mission of the Russian Federation. Since 2001, the international exhibition Powerexpo Almaty has been held in Almaty, which demonstrates the latest developments in the field of energy. It is a meeting place for professionals from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan representing government agencies, the fuel and energy complex, engineering and utilities, design, construction, installation organizations, transport, service and trade enterprises.
