Since the beginning of the year, mobile multidisciplinary teams have delivered 367 retired people over 65 years old living in remote villages to medical institutions in the Lyambirsky district. Elderly people were transported to polyclinic departments for additional screenings to identify socially significant non-communicable diseases.
From residents of the villages of Bolshaya Elkhovka and Atemar, employees of the mobile brigade and the State Institution "Social Protection of the Population in the Lyambirsky district of the Republic of Moldova" received words of gratitude for their work. The pensioners were also satisfied with the service provided by the medical staff.

The multidisciplinary team is a tandem of medical and non—medical professionals who provide assistance in the field of "medical rehabilitation". The team may include social workers, psychologists, kinesiologists, nurses and other specialists, depending on the needs of patients.
