
In Saransk, a verdict was passed against a resident of Moscow, who was found guilty of attempted sale of two kg of mephedrone. The man was sentenced to twelve and a half years in prison, serving his sentence in a strict regime colony.
According to investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Mordovia, in early April of this year, a Muscovite drove his car to Saransk. He had a large shipment of narcotic drugs with him. On the day of arrival, the man made 137 bookmarks with mephedrone and was detained red-handed by UNK operatives of the regional Interior Ministry. In the car of a resident of Moscow, the police found another part of the prohibited substances that he was going to sell. The defendant explained that he had extracted the drugs from hiding places in the Moscow region.
