The head of the department, Roman Solovyov, said that the situation on the labor market was stable last year. The number of officially unemployed has decreased by one and a half times. At the beginning of this year, employers provided more than 14,000 vacancies to the employment service. In 2024, 6,200 residents of the region were employed. There were also 257 job fairs during the year.

About 1,000 more residents of the region have mastered a new profession or improved their qualifications. 50 large families were able to undergo free professional retraining. 10 people received 250,000 rubles to open their own business.
This year, the authorities will continue to retrain personnel in order to provide the sectors of the economy with the necessary specialists. The program of targeted training in sought-after professions has also been extended, the Government of the Ivanovo Region said.
It should be recalled that state support for the agro-industrial complex of the Ivanovo region this year will amount to 1.6 billion rubles.
