The rating was compiled taking into account the average score of the Unified State Exam required for enrollment. In the study, experts took into account universities with a total enrollment of at least 300 students.

The three most "difficult" higher education institutions include MIPT, the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and Innopolis University. In them, the average score on the unified state exam was 97 points, 89.9 points and 87.5 points, respectively.
The fourth place in the ranking belongs to the Higher School of Economics (87.1 points), the fifth place is given to ITMO University (86.8 points), MGIMO University is in 6th position (86.6 points), the 7th place was taken by the Branch of the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg (86.5 points), the 8th position was assigned to the Central University (84.7 MSU ranks 9th (84.6 points), and the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (83.9 points) closes the TOP 10, RBC reports.
