Within the framework of the Pushkin Theater Festival 2024, more than 2.5 thousand spectators were able to see seven productions of Moscow and Moscow region theaters. More than 200 people took part in historical excursions-promenades. The festival, dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, was held with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.

The program of the summer cultural event of the Moscow region included the performance "Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District" by the Dmitrov Drama Theater, the production "Little Tragedies" by the Moscow Theater of Illusion, "The Marriage of Balzaminov" by the Pushkin Musical Drama Theater, as well as "Viy. Three nights" of the Ivanteevsky Musical Drama Theater, and on the final day of the festival, the Romani Gypsy Theater presented "Grushenka" by Nikolai Leskov to the court of theatergoers.

On August 31, cultural institutions of the Pushkin City District joined the festival: houses of culture, libraries, museums, public organizations.

Next year, the festival is planned to be dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the birth of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov.
