In the Angarsk city district, more than 23 km of roadbed has been repaired this season - this is more than 25 sections. Sergey Petrov, the mayor of Angarsk, told about the results of the work carried out in his Telegram channel.

In particular, the mayor noted that now the authorities have another effective tool for restoring highways – the regional subsidy for socio-economic development. Due to this, secondary streets and remote neighborhoods were included in the reconstruction program. The district has been using this support for the second year. Another part of the roadway was updated as part of the national project "Safe high-quality roads".
Sergey Petrov said that just as part of the regional subsidy, a 340-meter section on Zavodskaya Street in the South-East microdistrict was reconstructed. This stretch of road was in very poor condition, which is why carriers even changed the route of buses.

"The problem has been solved now. The contractor fixed the profile of the base, laid two layers of asphalt, marked the road, and made curbs. Those who travel here note a huge difference," said the mayor of Angarsk.
In addition, road works were carried out in such neighborhoods as Kitoy, Cement, Severny, Kirova, Staritsa.

Sergey Petrov also shared his plans for the future. Next year, they plan to restore Komintern Street, the section from Cosmonauts to Socialist. The work will be carried out here as part of a national project. The last time comprehensive work was carried out on this segment was almost ten years ago. Also in 2025, repairs are planned on an area of almost one and a half kilometers from Karl Marx Street to Krupskaya. A contractor has already been selected, which will begin work in April. They will change not only the asphalt on the roadway, but also on the sidewalks.
