The Novosibirsk region is actively overhauling and equipping schools within the framework of the state project "Development of Education". Since the beginning of the program, specialists have repaired 26 buildings of educational institutions. This year, work will be completed in 7 more schools.

According to Governor Andrey Travnikov, funding for the repair and construction of educational institutions is growing every year in the region. In the period from 2024 to 2027, the region plans to upgrade 80 facilities. The authorities support the option of capital repairs, because it allows for moderate investments and in a short time to create additional places in existing schools.
A good example was Lenin School No. 6. The renovation made it possible to create a unique educational space on the basis of the institution, including for preschool children. At the same time, students were not interrupted from their studies during the work.
The students were distributed to nearby institutions, provided transportation for the children, and had conversations with their parents. The school will be able to accept students again in the third quarter, the press service of the Government of the Novosibirsk region told.
Recall that the new national project "Infrastructure for Life" will begin to be implemented next year in the Novosibirsk region.
