From 2019 to 2024, 309 house territories were improved in the region. The asphalt surface was replaced, modern lighting was installed, as well as benches and urns. Special play areas for children have been created in some courtyards. All residents of the houses actively participated in the discussion of landscaping projects, jointly determining what improvements are needed in their area.
Since 2019, 57 public landscaping projects have been implemented. Ten of them became winners of the competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment. New public spaces have appeared in Saransk, as well as in the regional centers and villages of Mordovia.

In 2024, work was carried out to improve 11 public spaces. In particular, Gorzhuvskaya Street was improved in Saransk, where a recreation and leisure area was created. In addition, the square located next to the Oktyabrsky district administration was put in order.
Last year, the Alley of Fame was reconstructed in Ruzaevka, the park area was improved in Lambir, the square was created in Krasnoslobodsk, the public territory was improved in Atyrau, the public space was created in Bolshye Berezniki, and the central square was renovated in Starye Shaygovo. In the settlements of Dubenki, Zubova Polyana, Umet and Chamzinka, measures were taken to improve park areas.
Since 2025, the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" has been included in the new national project "Infrastructure for Life". Its main task is to ensure the comprehensive development of settlements and improve the standard of living of their inhabitants. During the implementation of the project, work will be carried out on the improvement of public spaces and courtyards.
