Novosibirsk authorities have exceeded the annual plan to provide orphaned children with apartments for 44 facilities. In total, 384 children left without parental care will be provided with housing by the end of the year.
Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev visited apartments in the Priozerny microdistrict, where apartments have been purchased for orphans. According to him, the city authorities are actively working to provide this category of citizens with housing. During 2024, 1.6 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes. It was planned that 340 objects would be purchased for them. But the procurement procedure was carried out more efficiently, so the plan was exceeded by 44 apartments.

The mayor of Novosibirsk positively assessed the housing on Onega and Kaspiyskaya streets. The apartments are transferred to the recipients immediately with finishing and plumbing. The housing was built by Energomontazh LLC under the equity scheme. The area of the apartments is about 40 square meters.
The territory next to the houses is landscaped, children's and sports grounds are equipped, there are places for storing strollers on each floor. Kindergartens, a hospital and schools are located near the houses.

The mayor's office also said that new residents receive 25,000 rubles for household needs upon entering the apartment. The Novosibirsk Region has become one of the first regions to adopt a law on providing housing for orphaned children according to certificates, the press service of the Novosibirsk Administration reports.
Earlier, the mayor of Novosibirsk supervised the construction of a music school in Akademgorodok.
