In Mordovia, more than 30 million passengers used the services of automobile and urban ground electric transport in the first three quarters of 2024. Air transport was also actively used: about 100 thousand people were transported. On the eve of the Day of Transport Industry Workers in the region, the results of work in this area over the past period were summarized.
This year, rail transport has become much more in demand than in the past. The number of passengers transported has increased by a quarter: more than 207 thousand people have been transported this year. More than 10 million tons of cargo were also transported.
