January 21st. /MEDIA TALK/.An hour of history "Life divided into grams" was held at the museum of the "Military and Labor Feat of 1941-1945", which is located in the regional Cultural Center. It was dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad.

The event was prepared and conducted by the head of the museum and the members of the K.S. Shubnikov search team. The guests of honor were Irina Ovchinnikova, social coordinator of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, and Tatiana Shvedkova, a participant in the fighting, as well as cadets and search engines from the Kochkurov school.

The teenagers prepared a report on the course of the blockade, and also read out fragments from Tanya Savicheva's diary, which was presented at the Nuremberg trials as evidence of the crimes of fascism. They also talked about how in besieged Leningrad they gave out bread pieces of 125 grams each. The search engines divided a loaf of bread into equal pieces and distributed them to the guests so that they could clearly imagine how little food there was for each resident of the besieged city.

As part of the "Blockade Bread" project, members of the young search team held an event at the headquarters of #MYPLACE. The volunteers of this organization, mostly women, are engaged in weaving camouflage nets, making trench candles and collecting humanitarian aid for the needs of a special military operation.

On January 27, 2025, Russia will celebrate the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade. The purpose of the "Blockade Bread" campaign is to remind of the courage and steadfastness of Leningrad residents during the Great Patriotic War.
