Export-oriented companies of Mordovia conducted negotiations in the capital of Turkmenistan. A business mission was held in Ashgabat for three days under the auspices of the ANO "Center for the Development of Competitiveness of the Republic of Mordovia".
During this period, representatives of enterprises actively interacted with business partners from Turkmenistan and worked to expand the export opportunities of enterprises of the republic.

The delegation included representatives of enterprises working in the field of industry in Mordovia. Among them were employees of Saranskkabel-Optics, employees of a company that manufactures chrysotile cement materials and fiber cement slabs for building decoration, Lato, as well as representatives of an enterprise producing aluminum and copper wire rods for the cable industry, Epromet.
Alexey Borodin was the head of the delegation. He holds the post of director of the Autonomous Non-profit Organization "Center for Competitiveness Development of the Republic of Mordovia". He also runs the Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia. As part of the business trip, participants from enterprises visited the international exhibition "Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan — 2024", and also took part in the conference "Development of construction, industry, energy of Turkmenistan". In addition, they met with representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

It should be noted that during the visit, the Center for the Development of Competitiveness of the Republic of Mordovia provided free services for organizing business meetings with potential foreign clients and compiling a list of potential clients. All movements within the mission for employees of Mordovian enterprises were also free of charge.
