In Novosibirsk, on the Day of the Constitution of Russia, residents of the region were awarded high state awards. The ceremony was held in the great hall of the regional Government. Among the awardees is Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region Andrey Shimkiv, who was awarded the Order of Friendship.

The labor collectives of the Scientific Research Institute of Measuring Instruments, the Valery Chkalov Aviation Plant, the instrument-making plant, employees of educational and health institutions, as well as large families were awarded for their conscientious work.
Natalia Sokolova, Deputy Chief Physician of the Novosibirsk Regional Clinical Hospital, received the title of "Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation". She has been working as a doctor since 1997, and came to the regional hospital immediately after her internship. Natalia Sokolova noted that her award is an award to the entire staff of the medical institution and an advance for the future, so that there is something to strive for.

Andrey Travnikov noted the huge contribution of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Andrei Shimkiv to the legislative activity of the region. The head of the region said that there are few examples in the world when not only rights and duties are included in the Constitution of the country, but also our attitude to our native country, to the family, to children, to traditional values. And he recalled that in 2020, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk region had done painstaking work on the creation of this document. "Our Constitution, as well as the coat of arms and the anthem of the state, is the pride of our country. As well as our fellow countrymen, whose work serves as an example and deserves the highest marks of encouragement," concluded the Governor.
Andrei Shimkiv, in turn, congratulated on his behalf and the entire deputy corps those gathered with well–deserved awards, stressing that it is doubly pleasant to receive them on such a day: "thank you so much for your hard work, for what you are doing. These are the rewards of your families, your work collectives! We love you, we are proud of you – you glorify our region, you glorify our country!"

The Governor and the Speaker of the Parliament also presented awards to employees of the fire service.
